Nuclear Blast Pays $12K For Domain Name

Posted by Chris Harris on July 5, 2012 in News

Nuclear Blast

Anyone who has ever visited the Nuclear Blast Web site knows it’s NuclearBlastUSA.com.

If you were to type NuclearBlast.com into your browser, I’m not sure what happened — all I know is now, the label has secured rights to it’s dot.com.

DN Journal claims Nuclear Blast Records paid $12,000 to acquire the rights the NuclearBlast.com domain.

I say it’s a worthy investment.

I mean, how many of you just assume site names and type them into your browser? I do.

Not sure I ever typed NuclearBlast.com into my browser, seeing as I know the company’s foreign and has a .de at the end of it.

Interesting story, right? On a side note, does anyone in their right mind actually listen to that band The Millionaires? I always just thought dudes wanted to defile ‘em, but I’m finding out people actually care about their music. Weird, huh?
